As happiness is a state of mind. If you want be happy then you can find it in everything and everywhere. I want to share with you a beautiful poem written by my 9-year old daughter.
“happiness is something that
You need in your life.
Without happiness you are alone.
Without happiness you can’t do anything.
Every thing you do, do it with a smile.
If you see someone mournful,
Try to make them cheerful.
Turn that frown upside down.
And just be happy”.
This poem inspires me so much. Here she clearly admits that our life’s true essence is happiness. At the same time, we must spread the happiness. we have to make the happiness as a habit. At any moment of time we believe that rest of the word is happy except myself. Here I want to share with you a story. Once a crow flew in the sky saw a beautiful swan swimming in the pond. Crow drop into that pond, started chatting with that swan, “hey you are so beautiful. Your milky white colour makes you feel happy right?” see my black colour, how ugly I am looking and it makes me feel bad. Hey dear crow, I was in that impression until I met parrot. Once I saw parrot, so beautiful parrot is. With two beautiful colours parrot looks amazing. Parrot is the happiest bird in my opinion. You have to meet the parrot once. So, crow flew away in search of the parrot. Oh my god, parrot is so beautiful, such a wonderful colour combination it has. Parrot, I can sense that you are the most beautiful and happiest bird in the whole world. Dear crow, I was under this false impression until a came across the peacock which is in the zoo. What a mesmerising colour it has. So many people gather to see peacock every day! It is a treat to your eyes. Go and see that peacock. Now crow is eager to meet the peacock. It was a fantastic movement for crow, once it had a first look of the peacock. Crowd gather there to take a glimpse of the peacock. Crow approached the peacock, hey peacock, you are so attractive, you can spread your feather as well. People are crazy to see you. Undoubtedly you are the most beautiful bird in this earth. At that movement peacock intervene, see crow, don’t get me wrong. I am not that lucky. As you see I am trapped here. I can’t move according to my wish as like you. Always I think that you are the happiest bird. You can roam anywhere, anytime according to your wish.”
In this way everybody thinks that all others are happy except myself. But it is not true. Always imagine yourself as a happiest person. Make it a habit. Then it will be there with you forever.
